Architect Sings Praises of Taylor Construction Yorkshire

National architect firm, Jefferson Sheard Architects, has praised Barnsley construction specialists Taylor Construction Yorkshire Ltd for its professional partnering on several construction projects.

Headquartered in Sheffield, with offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Stamford, Jefferson Sheard Architects have over 50 years experience working in sectors as diverse as retail, education, transport and healthcare and rely heavily on project partners to deliver the same high calibre service to their clients.

The architects practice asked Taylor Construction Yorkshire Ltd to carry out construction work on four diverse projects, including the renovation of a cottage into a grand family home, the construction of a basketball court for a community project in Sheffield, a new build four bedroom domestic property and renovation and shopfitting work on retail premises in Rotherham.

Tom Jones Managing Director of Jefferson Sheard Architects was quick to praise the company’s craftsmanship and customer care.

He says:”Taylor Construction Yorkshire has completed three projects with us, each for clients who are very demanding in their own different ways. It is quite unprecedented that each of these clients has contacted us upon completion of their projects to thank us for having recommended Taylor Construction Yorkshire to them. This has only strengthened my regard for them and I have no hesitation in recommending them."

Taylor Construction Yorkshire Director, Aileen Taylor, cites the fact that they make it as easy as possible for architects to project manage them as key to impressing both clients and architects alike.

She says: “We work closely with architects and their clients to ensure the specification and design costs marry up with the allotted budget, so there are no unexpected costs as the project progresses.

“Perhaps most importantly, we also reduce the amount of work involved in project management by taking it upon ourselves to prepare financial accounts and reports at the end of each month, ensuring both the client and the architect have a clear idea as to the work completed and any monies required for work in the month ahead.

“Whilst on site, we also keep the architect in the loop as soon as the client raises any further queries or requests and make sure we carry out work according to the architect’s timescales”.
